Jump up, get down, swim around

A  residential in late September you say!  Really!  Are you sure?

Yes, we know.  Summer’s on the wane with Autumn in ascension and, yes, there’s a good chance it will be cold and wet.  Well, very wet it was at times but the enthusiasm and energy of our pupils, combined with the experience and local knowledge of Andy and his team from Hebridean Pursuits, meant everyone had a splashingly good time.  Flexibility was the name of the game on the worst weather day and a last minute plan to escape the wilds of Glencoe to the coast near Oban resulted in a day of sun, sand and seal-like behaviour from pupils and staff alike.  To those jumping from the highest of the sea cliffs, we salute you.  To those folks jumping from a sensible, lower height, we commend you.  To those watching from the sidelines (i.e. your erstwhile blogger), well done you!
